Chronic Migraines? Let's Get to the Root of the Problem

Did you know that the founder of osteopathy, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, once struggled with debilitating headaches? As the story goes, he tied a rope to a tree, suspended his head in it, and took a nap — waking up to find his headache gone. This experience led him to realize something profound: the alignment and balance of the body's structure can play a key role in resolving pain.

While Dr. Still didn't leave behind exact methods of his treatments — he focused more on principles and where to look — his philosophy is the foundation of my osteopathic training. Migraines, for example, are often a symptom of deeper structural imbalances. In one person, the neck might be the source of the issue, while in another, it could stem from a twist in the pelvis.

As an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, my approach is thorough and methodical. I work to rule in and out the structures that may be influencing your symptoms, helping to uncover the root cause of your pain. By treating the whole body, I aim to restore balance and function, giving you the relief you've been searching for.

Let's work together to find out what's really behind your migraines.

your whole family feels it.
